We are located inside the airport, just past immigration, in front of the customs checkpoint.

Inform a customs officer, and they will call the staff on duty to assist you (once you exit the customs area, re-entry is not allowed).

Upon arrival at our counter, you will be taken by shuttle to our main office (1km away), where your contract will be issued and the vehicle handed over.

Yes, because according to El Salvador's traffic regulations, all vehicles must have some form of coverage to be legally operated.

Yes, because credit card benefits typically apply to U.S. cardholders only, not internationally.

As a member or frequent customer of ALAMO, you can earn ALAMO points for free rental days, access special deals, get free upgrades (subject to availability), discounted coverage, priority service, free drop-off, international travel permissions at half price, access your contracts online, and much more.

No, not all rentals qualify. Excluded rentals include special promotions (e.g., 2-for-1, discounts over 20%), reward redemptions, travel industry rates, wholesale travel packages, insurance replacements, and promotional hotel packages.

All rentals made through ALAMO.COM and ALAMOELSALVADOR.COM, as well as rentals with discounts of 20% or less, qualify.

Include your membership or frequent flyer number with each reservation. Points will be credited 6–8 weeks after the rental return. If not added at the time of rental, you can request a retroactive credit by providing the rental contract number. You have three options:
  • Fill out the Points Request Form on the Club ALAMO website.
  • Contact our offices directly.
  • Send a claim by email or postal mail including: your name, contact info, rental contract, frequent flyer number, and proof of travel if applicable.
